Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Apples with caramelized onions
Ingredients #
- 1/2 pound brussels sprouts, halved
- 1 red delicious apple, cut into small chunks
- olive oil
- 1/2 medium yellow onion, sliced
- 1/2 tsp maple syrup
Directions #
- Preheat oven to 400
- Toss sprouts and apples with 3/4 tsp olive oil and some salt
- Layer evenly on baking sheet
- Roast for 20 minutes, flipped after 10
- Heat a skillet with some oil
- Add onions to skillet and carmelize
- Add syrup to onions and cook for 1 minute
- Add sprouts and apples to skillet
