Vegan Parmesan Herb Crusted Tofu
Ingredients #
- 15 oz. extra firm tofu
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 3/4 c bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano
Directions #
- Press tofu for 15 minutes
- Preheat oven to 400
- Get 3 mixing bowls, add almond milk and lemon juice to one, whisk to combine
- Add flour and 1 tsp salt to another bowl
- Add breadcrumbs, yeast, garlic, basil, oregano, and remaining salt
- Slice tofu into triangles
- Place tofu into flour, then milk, then flour against, then milk again, then breadcrumbs
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through
